THE BOTTOM FEEDER / 013
1981 Yamaha XS650
What do you get when a brand like Cult Runner and a shop like Federal Moto get together? With a request that it be inspired by their "Bottom Feeder's Club" concept, we knew that a Cult Runner bike would have to be completely off-brand and wildly different than anything Federal had done before: a full-on dirty, 1970s-style hard-tail chopper. "Federal Moto is not a chopper shop!" we kept on repeating, but apparently even the TC Bros. were curious to see what a chopper built by a crew more known for their cafe racers & trackers could look like, so once they jumped on board we were left with no choice but to pull out the angle grinder and build our very first (and probably last) chopper.
